Frequently Asked Questions

If you cannot find the answer to your question please get in touch

Do you have a list of songs that you sing?

Yes! I have over 300 songs in my repertoire with songs across almost every genre and era of music to suit almost any event.

One of our songs isn't on your repertoire, can you learn it?

Don't worry, I take requests! I am more than happy to learn songs for my couples. Sometimes it's the case that I already know the song but I just haven't added it to my repertoire. There's so many songs in the world. If it is a new song I am not familiar with I will always try my best to learn it depending on suitability and if I can source an appropriate backing track. On some occasions I'm able to have a bespoke track made especially by another musician.

Do you provide your own equipment?

Yes. I have my own Bose L1 model II speaker with a SUB1 along with a tonematch mixer and a range of high quality microphones from the Shure Super 55 vintage to the SE electronicis V7. I also have the Bose S1 pro battery powered speaker which is great for smaller rooms & venues and even outdoor use where electric isn't available. I always carry a back up of everything in case something happens out of my control. I also have an extension lead incase of limited electric supply.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. I hold public liability insurance to the value of £1million. I am happy to send this to your venue if they require a copy of my certificate, along with my PAT testing certificates for all of my electrical equipment.

Are you able to travel for weddings?

I am more than happy to travel all over the UK & internationally for Weddings. A travel fee may be required if the venue exceeds the miles included in my packages. Please see 'Do you charge for travel?' for more information. Accomodation costs may be required on some occasions but this shall be stated when quote is given.

Do you charge for travel?

The first 40 miles are included. Additional mileage is charged at 45 pence-per-mile. Travel expenses shall be stated when quote is given.

We'd like you to sing outside, is this possible?

Yes of course, I own the Bose S1 pro battery powered speaker which is great for venues with outdoor spaces that do not have outdoor electric supply. However, I also have an extension lead to be able to run from indoor to outdoor too. Please see 'Do you provide your own equipment' for full equipment details.

Do you only sing at weddings?

No not at all! Though Weddings are the majority of my bookings; I am more than happy to sing for any and all events! I've had the honour of performing for anniversaries, birthdays, charity fundraisers, residential care homes, Summer fayres, Queen Jubilee events, Christmas fayres, restaurants, bars, pubs & cafes. The list is endless. I will be able to work directly with you to ensure my performance is suitable for your event.

How do we book you?

Once you have sent your enquiry through, I will contact you via email to discuss your Wedding day or event in more detail and answer any questions you may have. I will also email over my updated repertoire and terms & conditons. However, if you prefer to keep in touch via messages or phone calls that is absolutely fine, the form of contact is completely up to you. Once you have chosen the package you would like for your day, I will then send you over an invoice. In order to secure the date I require a non refundable deposit which is 25% of your balance then there is nothing left to pay until a month before your big day! Throughout the lead up to your day I will be on hand to answer any questions you have, record mobile audio clips if requested to, make contact with your venue and co-ordinators and to help you with your song selections - just pop an email across any time and I'll be happy to help. My reviews from past couples reflect on this.

You were fantastic, you made my bridal party emotional just from listening to your sound check, while we were getting ready down the corridor!
